I have Obsessive thought OCD and I can totally relate. Many people with OCD are not neat freaks, I am very disorganized.
Thank you for being you. Great content
i'm in ED recovery and this was so helpful and I learned a lot
So much inspiration I’ve decided to crawl out of a very dark place and do a triathlon. Hopped on my bike for first time in 8 yrs.
"I'm not inclined to walk around grateful." WOW! So true and yet so rarely voiced.
Wow Amelia is one amazing human and I love her honesty and these open conversations. One observation- childhood trauma might not be one of the "big T" traumas eg. sexual abuse, it can be something more covert and harder to pinpoint or remember. Also, when talking about one feeling they don't need therapy cause they are "functional" the functionality doesn't just mean in your job. It encompasses a lot more, most importantly your relationships. Once again, absolutely love this conversation.
Amelia. You are an inspiration
I would lovvve to see her hormonal profile and even neurotransmitter metabolites. She must have high dopamine and androgens. Her adrenal and thyroid hormones must be above optimal even with delicate bones.
I used to be super active and I had hormones measured and I had higher androgens than normal by a lot, no pcos, no extra unwanted hair, small frame etc. &also had high dopamine metabolites in urine test. Constantly motivated etc. But seeing her build like mine I’m so curious especially with her constant drive & her saying she builds muscle easily by running.
Great work Amelia and Rich. Addiction is addiction and it shows up differently in each of us. The courage it takes to tackle our fears and insecurities head on is so powerful and transforming. Thank you both🙏
Wasn't expecting to hear this side of her as this is the first I hear of her disorder. Related to her, as I'm going through my own battles with food and other mental issues / struggles.
This is such a raw conversation. What an amazing opportunity to listen in
Thank you both for this interview! You both always continually inspire me. I hope there is relief and more healing from not needing to hide the eating/stress secret anymore. đź’—

Good interview. Shitty juvenile intro/outro music. Cut that out. Ur not a teenybopper listening to generic weak ass mixes. Put on classier stuff or just cut it out. It's really unnecessary. I think we can all agree on this that your intro/outro needs to go. SO, CUT IT OUT!
Thank you..The truthfulness from both is so beautiful..
Awesome! Thank you for sharing your journeys. I’m really loving it that these conversations are happening everywhere right now. Reminding us that we all share this sometimes baffling & confusing human experience & that this is what connects us to one another🥰
Brave.
I've followed and looked up to Amelia for years. So brave, intelligent, honest, well spoken and caring. You are a roll model, flaws and allđź’Şđź’•
Just absolutely gorgeous.
Amelia is an inspiration and real….. appreciate her approach and transparency, she is what appears to be a sincere soul trying to live a good and fulfilling life and seems very grounded. Also appreciate that she does this while juggling work in corporate america.
Like the T-shirt.
I love Rich Roll’s interview m, there is something painfully sweet and soothingly sad. and thought about why. I keep coming back with the answer “Because he is a real good hearted guy with so innocent mind.” I dont know him in person. So yes, maybe im just being silly.
