Silver popping it’s head up over the 50 day moving average. Expect the slam down before it can run up too much over that. Still 70K plus contracts in open interest on the COMEX. They need to shed most of those in the last 8 trading days before December delivery. It will still be an epic delivery month with probably 30-40K contracts standing for delivery. That’s 200 million ounces of silver. Who’s going to provide all those thousand ounce bars?
Started buying only kilo bars a few months ago. Yes you can still get some Swiss hallmarks like Metalor from a few retail dealers. But it does appear that on the wholesale side they are gone. Asahi kilo bars seem to be available. My preference is only for bars that are serial numbered and/or assayed.
