  1. You shouldn't be diplomatic and must tell what is best overall. From history we know socialist countries failed and the people in those countries suffered a lot. If whole world is socialistic where we will be today? Will we be trying to live on another planet ? Self driving cars? Innovative world?

  2. socialist countries: Germany, France, Sweden . . and basically other innovative countries.. they produce luxury items you want like Gucci, Prada, BMW, Benz, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini .. employees are treated well and fair within the countries unless you think about the slave workers in 3rd world countries working in slums and sewing bags.

socialist seems to be an upgraded version of capitalist aka USA in a nutshell

  3. Funny how the socialist cupcakes didn't follow any principles of socialism. Exchange of product for money is already fundamentally not socialist.

  4. Correction: replace below … time citizens withhold their pledge … WITH … time citizens performed their pledge… USA doesn't have pure Capitalism, it has a mix of communism, socialism and liberalism. USA form of government was NEVER a democracy, and will not find word "democracy" within any of initial documents and USA Constitution, CHECK FOR YOUR SELF. Concepts of a democracy (communism and extreme socialism) oppose the concepts and freedoms USA was founded under. When say pledge of allegiances will say … TO THE REPUBLIC … and it is time citizens withhold their pledge. Democrats have been using your freedoms to destroy same freedoms. Concepts of a republic, have nothing to do with the Republican Party.

  6. Wow, is so obvious that you'll never live under socialism hahahah you romantize it sooooo much. Also this video just show you business model for a company (without looking the future, where the socialist business will, for sure,
    fail), not as system.

  7. Let me tell you what I believe as someone who was born in Cuba, a socialist country, and now lives in a capitalist country. The last thing i bought online was a High alttitude Training Mask, why do i need such a thing, that also has proven to be ineficcient. I did it cuz i want to look like Bane going to the grocery store (I bought an N95 too). The mask fill a void in my needs to look like a villian, but that´s an stupid need. So there is a strenght of capitalism, is better in those minor things that can make you feel good for a moment, but time t time we forget the enviromental cost of that.

In the other hand in Cuba we don´t have enough food for whatever reazon so don´t dream with Training Masks. But in Cuba as a poor and black person I still was able to studie in the bests schools that my intelligence allow me to. All the way to college, without never paying a cent.
The root of the problem to me is that we somehow condems when someone doesn´t have a job. Without considering, that there is not enought job for everyone in the world, simply there isn´t,100% employment is impossible, yet we expect people to stand up by themselves, and that´s not allways possible beyond anecdotal stories. and don´t get started with equal opportunity and how that is related with the history of countrys. Also keep in mind, that in capitalism we produce things that has to broke to force people to buy a new one and keep the machine going..in the end the planet is the one that can not afford that.

So my conclusion, they both have merits in ideals, but havent been implemented correctly. Extreme capitalism, where people die cuz can not afford social security is a disgrace, but the inhability to explain Cuba, where you can´t do barely anything and live dilutes just surviving it´s in the end no better. So yes a mix economy where you can express your true self, implement your enteprenourial ideas, don´t die out of poverty, regardless your parents history color etc you have the opportunity to go to college etc, thats an aspiration we should all have for the entire planet not just for one or some countries.

  8. I've never seen such a BS video in my life (so far), full of LAZY stereotypes. Capitalism has freed more people from poverty that ever before, and it can't afford to exploit workers in a healthy economy because they simply go get another job! Great employees become the prized asset a business has. Was this written by a College student?

  9. Creating pancakes to be sold is still capitalist. Comodity production is capitalist. The "socialist" pancake shop as shown in the video is a coop, which although worker owned, is capitalist. Contrary to the myth, workers owning the means of productions alone doesn't make socialism.

  10. This video rocks (liked and subscribed), and I have only a few critiques of the content :

The capitalist cupcake stand should have bought out the socialist cupcake stand for $1 on the cupcake, then sold the exact same cupcakes for $6 each after labeling them "no conflict free trade green cupcakes."

    Or…

The socialist cupcake stand brands itself as "ultra-capitalist free market cupcakes" and sells the cupcakes for $4 while getting a $3 subsidy from the government, pocketing the rest for "R&D purposes" which never happens, putting the other stand out of business.

    Or… (my personal favorite)

The socialist and capitalist cupcake stands both arm themselves and seek to kill the workers of the other side to make sure they have the only monopoly. The capitalist cupcake stand will excuse the violence as "spreading democracy to the oppressed cupcake workers" and the socialist cupcake stand will excuse the violence as "the peoples' revolution of cupcake workers." After the workers are dead, the owners of the stands make a peace agreement deal to sell cupcakes to developing up-and-coming cupcake stands at the exact same price. Then, they both deny the conflict ever happened. If the new cupcake stands wont buy their cupcakes, or dare make cupcakes of their own, both of the previous stands launch a bombing campaign against them in the name of global cupcake market freedom.

Based on the other comments, I would like to see a video exploring whether or not political polarity is a new and exciting Cluster-B personality disorder which can be diagnosed by an inability to get jokes.

Thank you for your content, comrades in free market cupcakes.
