How many people here cannot personally afford, or do not have the insurance, or the access to the drugs that Rump was given? Why does Congress and the President have subsidized (that means socialized) health care that most US citizens cannot have? Why are we treated differently under the law? You two are obviously smart, critically thinking journalists so it is beyond me why you refuse to cover or discuss the updated information on the IFR and lethality of Covid. The CDC data now clearly shows it is, for ages under 65, less lethal than seasonal flu with a survivability of 99+%. Why are you not comparing this pandemic to past pandemics for perspective (1958 Asian Flu, 1961 Hong Kong Flu, 2009 H1N1, etc) – these were arguably as dangerous and yet nobody shut down economies, no body ordered social distancing, mask wearing, etc. As journalists shouldn't you be bringing into the discussion the latest scientific evidence and asking "how does this affect the situation now?". When H1N1 swept through the US we had 60.8 million cases, with Covid 19 we have 6.8 million cases. And yet the mass hysteria and panic is happening over Covid, which is on par with seasonal flu. It is beyond frustrating to see what are perhaps the only two legitimate journalists left on MSM acting like there is no new information worthy of consideration.
