  1. This hack does not affect the security of your Ledger hardware wallet device. Do not enter your mnemonic phrase into a website. Do not respond to SMS or email messages that say you need to reset your hardware wallet. If you are affected you need to protect yourself against SIM swaps and phishing attacks right now. Learn how by watching LEDGER HACK PLAYLIST https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPQwGV1aLnTuKUIiO_DelQ4nCgpShQn3w or WATCH the full Ledger hack livestream here: https://youtu.be/uKCMx8nqQhY

  2. With all due respect, I think you're seriously downplaying the hack here. With an email address, let's say johnsmith @ hotmail maybe they can find your name. With that your address. With that, they can break into your house to get your seed, that is written in a piece of paper in your desk.

Not saying this will happen to everyone who had a ledger, but it is a possibility.

  3. Unrelated to this, but had my own problems with Ledger-of course it was concerning their original product-Ledger Nano-some years back.
But I wouldn't recommend them, they aren't a very good company overall.

  4. This is the best free fiduciary channel or platform ever produced. Andreas, thank you for being the leader of the movement of the future. We need current relevant, applicable information – you provide that. We need to define the problems to find a solution, you’ve done that here yet again! I hope everyone realizes how lucky we are to have this channel and others like it. Blessings to everyone πŸ™πŸ»
