Fricken ANZACs were in row boats at Gallipoli
My Uncle was shot down flying a C47, his last mission. He didn't make it. His co-pilot looked all of 16 yrs. old.

This video was an interesting insight into the life of a soldier at Normandy. Nice job guy.
Slow down
Take a breath… Told too fast-paced.
can you make indonesia independence war
When you realise that "Holding my M1 high" could range between a rifle, a machinegun, submachinegun, pistol, bazooka, carbine or even a mortar
Nice vid!
It's time to take the fight to Hitler
It seems like everyone’s great grandfather was in d-day in this comment section
Believe it or not but my ship date to basic is on dday
Such a binge worthy channel
I have made a playlist of The Armchair Historian War Stories Videos.
What were the Nazi's shouting when surrendering?
Need more of these style vids! This was intense!
My great grandpa fought on Omaha he was in the 4th infantry he survived fighting in the liberation of Paris and the battle of the bulge he is my hero and this video taught me why my grandpa would never talk about the war
You used audio from saving private ryan
June 6 is my birthday 😦
My great grandfather parachuted on d day with the 82 airborne
It has very little significance in the outcome of the war compared to the war between the Soviet Union and the bulk of the Nazi army (85% of it).
Sound effects are cheesy and make it hard to hear the narration
Not the greatest story, guy lays down until it's over. Great video style, but of all the sacrifice and action at Omaha, strange story to highlight.
Countless time I’ve seen or read about D-Day and it still sends chills down my spine. The fact that those men faced death wherever they step on, run to, or took cover in shocks me. Also the men defending the beaches would not be able to grasp the amount of force that is in front of them. Salute to all those who served.
Great Video^^ but pls, make sure you write in the good way the cities's names ( Saint-Lo= Saint-Lô and Le Harve = Le Havre ) :p
