It's a "necessary" protection but not to protect you from the virus. What we are seeing here is an elaborate protection racket. If you do what the government says, you get to live your life. If you don't, then you become a pariah. It's an offer you can't refuse. Get with the program people. Wear the mask.
The CDC admits that masks do not protect the wearer. I suppoedly protects those around the wearer. Yet, those masks with exhaust valves spread, without filtration.

Looking at this months later it seems the obvious has happened. They were both correct and incorrect. Mask data has been pretty well known for a long time now. Masks are better than nothing, when used correctly, but people do not use them correctly. So now the studies predictably show that 85 percent of people infected wore their masks all the time. This was entirely predictable. The real reason for masks as mandate was it gives the impression that the gov is doing something even when we already know the end result. And in that process it has become tribal anyway. In the end masks were not effective. And they were exactly as not effective as could have been and was predicted by people that were told they were idiots for quoting mask data we already had. And in the end no one will care so it was tribal after all.

FYI In order for a mask to work it must be able to prevent the Virus from entering your mouth or nose. In order to do that there must be a complete seal between the mask and your face and the mask needs to be made of a material woven together in such a way as to leave no hole large enough for a Virus to penetrate. A Virus is microscopic.
Your mask can only be used once. As soon as you take it off it's contaminated.
Your mask cannot get wet. Wet = contamination
Think of your mask as a collection of germs, Germs you've breathed out and germs that tried to get in.
What happens when you throw your mask away ? Your collection of germs that you've just tossed to the wind that landed somewhere in the environment exposed to the air everyone else breathes.

We have easily managed to firmly introduce the concept into the minds of the majority of the populace, that a deadly virus is on the loose and that it is highly contagious. As a species, most of you are easily fooled. IQ is controlled by us. To help achieve this mass deception we have at our disposition the main stream media, Hollywood, the music industry and many other paid actors. Even members of your own kind are fervently helping to propagate the lie. So kind of them to help dig their own graves.
We have two main goals for the near future. The first is the mass vaccination of the world populace. The vaccine will bring about sterility in both the male and female of the species. Also premature death or just total conformity. The second is to destroy what you perceive as your reality. The world economy will be destroyed, cultural identity will disappear. Your ability to offer any resistance to our plan is fast diminishing.
