Journalism should be setup in such a way that if 2 stories contradict each other and go to court, the citations in those articles should carry the same weight, responsibility, and consequences as evidence. Any article proven false should be retracted with an apology to the people and publicly give credit/praise to the journalist in the retraction. If journalist given fair warning has not retracted correctly within a specified time, it goes to court.
