The were after Gimli and stretched out of him. Behold, our modern Neanderthal. It could'nt be better (Could not be better?)
10:34 that sure not Ron Jeremy's relative lmao
John Rhys-Davies looks a little neanderthal himself… or maybe I am just seeing the dwarvish side of him.
Where are Archaeologists whom have such Scientific and Ethical Minds as this Host always portrays in his series of subjects?
They need only release their Opinions based on old Ideaology and clear mind, allowing for the Research and Data to write the greater truths.
As I was looking to the face of the neanderthal, I felt a strong sense of connecting with someone who was buried in the past so deeply, and it occurred to me that, no matter how different our life experiences are, I don't think I have a better clue to what existence is than he did. Maybe, just maybe, he had a better clue than I do.
Horrible audio
I think Jonathan Rhys-Davis might be a Neanderthal
Very nice, I know its old but thanks for uploading
It's amazing to see these people find their ancestors. Neanderthals still exist. They go by different names now and they are ruling the world still with dog hair and mutated eye color. They know Neanderthals are they're ancestors.
The only thing Neanderthal hunted was each other…stop lying…in order to hunt you have to run and catch your prey (no gun/no how and arrow)… Neanderthals cannot run
How old is this doc? This information seems really old and not updated.
Wow this is so old jesus. They were still insisting we hadn't interbred and that families weren't important! 9-12% of European genetic makeup is Neanderthal. There's evidence of around 3% African – not emigrated, native – Neanderthal genetic makeup, plus an unknown minor factor that could easily be ANOTHER human species.
This is interesting.
I dont think they all die out i think they just when deeper in to the earth
i see neaderthal man is hosting this show – nice!
0:27 i found it!
Why We Do Think That The Ancient People Are Not Better That Us…???
To Think About All Of Our Knowledge Are From Them…They Are The First Discoverer…They Are The First Engineer The First Navigator We Just Upgrade Thier Knowledge And The Most Important Thier Engineering Skill Are Better Than Today's Engineer With Technology…
What's the narrator's name? I couldn't understand him.
Why is he white? He could have been dark skinned, couldn't he? They gave him dark hair so if we're going with the 'cold climate equals white skin' theory, then why isn't the hair blonde or red, like the Scandinavian people's who evolved in cold climates?
The 'enhanced' audio is making me sea sick.
There brain was developed for the need according/adapting to the specific environment.
14:05 chill with the hair piece bro its not that big of a deal
The dates! Poisoned!
The asp! Very dangerous!
Modern day europeans and asians have neanderthal dna so they are still around in a way.
Also the out of africa theory has been debunked so this info is slightly outdated.
The savages shouldn't have gone away it's a little lonely by ourselves ….
This has to be at least 20 years old judging by the look of the presenters but I still enjoyed it. One thing I used to wonder, was why was it always assumed that early people didn't groom their hair at all? Now I wonder why the men are always portrayed as having Man Buns. Neither can be true.
We must have pushed Neanderthals into extinction if only to insure our own survival in a world of rapidly depleteing resources, or else they might still be living today.
It is John Rhys-Davies! You were so awesome as Gimli in Lord of the Rings, and the Elf King in Shannara!
The presenter looks like a Neanderthal wearing suit and tie.
where's indy?
GIMLI!!!!!!!
They became extinct because European men gave them the common cold and aids
"That STILL ONLY COUNTS AS ONE."
We ate them
They might NOT have died out 35,000 years ago and they might not have appeared quite so human. Medieval works of art portray hair-covered human-like wildmen called the wudewasa (variously spelled), leading to speculation the could be relict Neanderthals.
Neander-Tal not Neander-THal you Neanderthal
White people overwhelmed the neaderthal. Tremendous!
They put our modern face on the primitive skulls of a different species… WRONG!… neanderthals obviously had a more simian /apelike face very hairy redheaded green eyed & a body strength and bones tendons muscles hugely more powerful than ours… = ape- like strength…not our face on a primitive robust skull
This video is old. Rhys-Davies is 75 and does not look like he does here. There are newer, more scholarly, videos about Neanderthals.
Truly, the reason neanderthal went extinct is because of THE GOD FACTOR. Their souls were not blessed by God, preventing them from inheriting the earth, unlike Adam-and-Eve. ✝️
Two things mentioned here did not come from africa, Humans and or modern Humans.
Over 500 years of occupation and just in the last 100 years the occupants manged to destroy a culture, millions and millions of animals, the bison being a good example and all they can discuss is endless growth.
Is it not obvious a nation of idiots rule, but then again idiots are incapable of identifying what has happened..!
Too old!
Cannabil s or gone the rock a gibralter last seen n print that's human blood or distinct n geography n geological no survival mega lived n stench or erect or robust take offs r known all ground known n found n bones n skull no humanity Adam n eve sin n hunt or pit mammoth wats gone both things n evolve n evolution that's called genesis n beginning n computation all's track n trace n print not left n nothing
It was a combination of events that made the Neanderthals extinct. climate change, once they came into contact with Modern Men they caught diseases brought by the new comers, which Neanderthal had no immunity, plus they now had to fight for the same food and resources with the new comers and finally they weren't able to adapt fast enough to those changes due to the fact that their bodies were design for and Ice Age that now was fast coming to an end and when the Ice Age ended so did they. The few that were left intermingle with Modern Men driving the last nail to their coffin.
Bad soundtrack. Nasty
