Why You Should Soak Chia Seeds Before Eating Them (Chia Seeds Side Effects)

2 min read

Chia is a food that has become very popular in recent years, because of its numerous health benefits.

These seeds, native to Central America, have long been the basis of food for people who lived in that region, and it is not by accident:

Chia has 5 times more calcium than milk which makes it ideal for those who are lactose intolerant or for vegans.

It has more antioxidants than blueberries. It is three times richer in iron than spinach, and it contains twice as much fiber as oats.

In addition to providing a lot of energy to the body, its consumption increases muscle strength and endurance, contributes to weight loss, satisfies hunger, and lowers blood sugar.

However, not everything about chia is beneficial. It also brings some risks along with it. In today’s video we’d like to talk about those risks:

What about you? Do you like to eat chia? How do you prepare it?

  1. My father's chia seed company is organic and hand washed before it is packaged. They even disinfect the bags. His company name I dousorozs and his brand is chia kings. Please consider buying.

  2. I only knew about it presently so I washed lots of video on how to use it so I soaked it over night then place in fridge when i use it i just take 2 table spoon of the mixture as it's already turn to liquid jell

  3. dont eat them raw i literally choked the only way i eat chia is in chia pudding lol bc its delicious and filling you wont choke on the already soaked seeds they just slide right down, and the blood presure issue concerns me a tad bit my blood prssure is usually on the lower side so ill wtch how much i consume from now on.

  5. I noticed that when I soak the seeds whole overnight and eat the next day I become extremely constipated like it's really bad and painful… so I started blending the seed into a fine powder and soaking and it's been perfect since!!! I love the boost of energy it gives me thru out the day

  6. They want people to avoid benefitial foods so that they sell more of big pharma,s poisons you can change people,s mind about somthin with the word risk but you can,t control the minority who know the truth.

  7. I generally gulp them down before they are completely soaked
